Hi, I’m Desiree, a professional surf coach with over 20 years of experience in the water and a lifelong connection to the ocean. I grew up in Huntington Beach, where my passion for surfing began, and the ocean has remained central to both my personal growth and my work.

I specialize in private surf coaching for surfers looking to progress beyond the beginner stage, develop intermediate skills, or refine their technique on both shortboards and longboards. My coaching approach is rooted in surf awareness, strong fundamentals, ocean mindfulness, and building confidence in the water in a way that feels supportive, practical, fun and enjoyable.

Alongside surf coaching, I work as a personal coach focused on athletic development, movement, and performance, helping clients build the physical foundation that directly improves their surfing. I also support individuals in Ventura through coaching centered on personal growth and healthier relationships with themselves and others.

With decades of surf experience and a commitment to ongoing learning, my goal is to help surfers of all levels improve, progress with clarity, and stay connected to the enjoyment of being in the ocean.
