About MO SURF

Mary Osborne Surf Academy has been sharing the beauty of surfing to  all ages since 2000. Voted multiple years in a row by Ventura County  Reporter and Sunset Magazine as the “Best Surf Camp,” Mary and her incredible staff have taught thousands of kids and adults to surf from ages 2.5 years old to 75 years young.

The mission of Mary Osborne Surf Academy is to share the transformative magic of the ocean. We believe surfing is more than a sport — it’s a lifestyle that cultivates confidence, mindfulness, and joy. Our goal is to create experiences that connect people to nature, to each other, and to themselves, encouraging everyone to Live • Love • Inspire both in and out of the water.

We believe the ocean should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability. Our team is dedicated to teaching safe, inclusive, and sustainable surfing practices while nurturing environmental stewardship and community connection. From first-time surfers to advanced athletes, we empower each participant to grow with confidence, respect, and gratitude for the ocean — one wave at a time.
